The Port Washington Lions Club is hosting its annual charitable Breakfast. Music is provided by Chuck Idol and his associates. The event raises money for primarily community organizations but also international causes. The event brings together community residents of all ages for good food, fellowship and fun. The event also raises money for high school scholarships, the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, the Lions Eye Bank for Long Island, the National Helen Keller Foundation and other causes. The Lions Club is the oldest charitable organization in the country. This year the Port Washington Club is celebrating its 100th birthday.
