In the 34 years of Pride In Port, we have only had the unfortunate decision to cancel the event due to weather, twice. Based on the current forecast, we have made the decision to cancel all of the Pride In Port Activities EXCEPT for the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Events will not be rescheduled.
Friday night athletic events, and the Football game against Hempstead will still take place, as determined by Section VIII Athletics.

8:30 – Port Washington Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – Program begins promptly at 9:00 with the parade of former Inductees – Schreiber HS Lobby/Auditorium
11:00 – Showcase of Blue Moon, Taekwando and Cancer Care – At the TONH Showmobile in front of the PW Train Station
11:30 – Kick off of Parade – with the GRAND MARSHAL – The Nicholas Center Navigators – Inductees of the Athletic Hall of Fame, School participation and Floats from each school, bands, organizations, PWFD, PWPD
12:30 – Senior Luncheon - Schreiber High School Cafeteria – hot chicken plate, and BINGO with cash prizes to follow – Reservation necessary - RSVP to: 516-883-6656
12:00 – 4:00 – FREE carnival for the kids of the community – rides/activities include – The Wrecking Ball, Trackless Train, 3 Lance Obstacle Course, 25’ Klime Wall, Popcorn Cart, Cotton Candy Cart, Snow Cone Cart, Sports combo and activities from Schreiber organizations
2:00 – Varsity Football game vs. Hempstead – Halftime Show featuring introduction of the Athletic Inductees, and the Portettes Half time show
12:00-6:00 – Food Court on the elevated parking lot between the Weber (Flower Hill) All-Purpose Room and the Track – featuring: Philly Pretzels, No Good Burger Joint, Rosie’s Grilled Cheese, Yummy Gyro, The Boss , The Filthy Pig, Smusht, and All-American Wonton – and possibly more!
3:30 – CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT – 15 Corn hole sets – Competition between all schools – separate competitions between Elementary Schools, houses of Weber Middle School, and Clubs/teams from Schreiber - $10 a partner set per game. Winning school/house/club wins 5 corn hole sets!
5:15 – FREE Square Dance and Line Dance – called by Jim Emory! Come with a group – come with a partner! We will set you up!!
Parade on Main Street from Belleview Avenue to Port Washington Blvd. Family Fun Day with corn hole tournament and square dancing at Schreiber track and Seeber Field. Homecoming football game at Schreiber field. Senior Citizen Lunch at Schreiber cafeteria.
