Name: SCIENCESTOCK at the Science Museum of Long Island
    Date: June 8, 2025
    Time: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM EDT
    Event Description:

Inspired by the iconic Woodstock, Sciencestock is a unique fusion of music, science, nature and sustainability. This all-day, plastic-free event emphasizes sustainability, showcasing how large outdoor music festivals can operate environmentally responsibly. We invite attendees to experience live performances from beloved acts like Potato Phoenix, Jah Stix, and Half Step, and welcome new artists such as the Late Show Choir Gospel and the Street Beat Bass Parade who will take attendees on a Mardi Gras march through the preserve.

    ?

The festival will not only feature continuous live music but also offer immersive nature activities. Highlights include a drum circle in the woods, a nature symphony, a forest sound bath, a nature scavenger hunt, and Storytime in the woods. In addition to these immersive experiences, guests can enjoy local craft beer and cider, provided by Barrier Brewery, and food from a variety of food trucks as they take in the beautiful surroundings of the Leeds Pond Preserve.

    ?

At Sciencestock, we are committed to demonstrating real solutions for making large-scale outdoor events more eco-friendly. Through sustainable food practices, energy-conscious initiatives, and conservation-focused education, we are proving that music festivals and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand. To make this vision a reality, we need your support! By partnering with Sciencestock as a sponsor, you will gain brand exposure among a community that values science, sustainability, and innovation. More importantly, you will be directly contributing to an initiative that is shaping the future of environmentally responsible events.
